What is a Glow Profile?
A Glow Profile is a short snapshot of how your skin behaves day-to-day, mapped from your answers to one of four states: Barrier Repair, Glow Restoration, Sensitive Calm, or Balanced Glow. Each profile comes with a routine and a 2-week focus tailored to that state.
How accurate is the quiz?
It's designed to give you clarity, not a clinical diagnosis. The questions focus on the strongest at-home signals, like how your skin feels minutes after a shower, how it reacts to new products, and how consistent your routine is. Most people recognise themselves in one profile immediately.
Which oil should I use for sensitive or reactive skin?
The Maru Nourishing Body Oil, Unscented, is designed for reactive skin. It's fragrance-free with a short ingredient list of plant oils, supporting the barrier without overstimulating the surface.
Can I retake the quiz?
Yes, anytime. Skin shifts with seasons, climate, stress, and routine consistency, so retaking the quiz every few months can be useful, especially if you've changed climates or noticed a difference.
Do I need to use a Maru product to follow the routine?
No. Each profile's routine is principle-based and works with any high-quality plant-oil-based body oil applied to damp skin daily. We recommend Maru because we formulated it for the four states the quiz identifies.
