Refund Policy

We want you to love your Maru products. If something isn't right, please reach out and we will do our best to resolve it.
Defective or damaged products
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of receipt at contact@maruskincare.co.za with photos and your order number. We will replace the item or issue a full refund, including return shipping where applicable.
Unopened products
For hygiene and product safety reasons, we can only accept returns of unused, unopened products with the original tamper seal intact. Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund to the original payment method within 7 business days.
Opened products
Opened skincare products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, except in the case of a defect or adverse reaction. If you experience an adverse reaction, please stop use immediately and contact us so we can assist.
Sale items
Items purchased on sale or with a promotional discount can only be refunded if defective or damaged.
How to request a refund
- Email contact@maruskincare.co.za with your order number and reason.
- We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
- Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the customer's responsibility.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 of South Africa.
